What's Happening in Room 18
Hello Families,
I am so proud of our scholars and all of their accomplishments this year.
One thing they did was look for problems that they could solve through invention. Scholars learned the design and engineering processes which gave them skills and tools to create an invention. They presented their projects before a judge at the Vallejo Mill Invention Convention. We had students go on to the California Invention Convention, and the National Invention Convention.
Another project we worked on was growing trout in the classroom. Below, see pictures of the classroom, Quarry Lakes where we released the small fry trout, and a picture of our trout. Thank you parents for all of your support this year, Mrs. Straub
